No, you don't have to have links at the top of the page.
No, you don’t always need a portfolio on your websites.
Yes, you can have small CTAs at the bottom of the page.
Yes, you can remove that massive CTA from your hero section.

I've been building websites since late 2000. In fact this website is pretty much a carbon copy of my original website under this very domain name, without the dreaded guestbook, oh dear lord, remember those?!

Now I travel and work remotely in my Chevy truck with my dog Woof! and, you guessed it, making websites!
